The Products

All products are designed and created in Greece, fully utilizing unsold copies of “shedia” street paper (which would otherwise have been passed on to a paper-recycling company), as well as the passion, positive energy and talents of their creators.

In all other materials used, high priority and preference is given to pure, organic ones (glues, varnishes, etc.). Only in the case where no eco-friendly materials are available, other materials of high quality are used, always applying the key criterion to be as natural and as eco-friendly as possible. The extra components used (clock mechanisms for the wall clock, for example) are carefully selected and of high quality. Throughout the manufacturing process, goods and products made in Greece are preferred. Wherever possible, we work with suppliers whose manufacturing units are in geographical proximity to the “shedia art” centre of operations in a conscious effort to further reduce our environmental footprint.

Moreover, apart from the environmental footprint, our partners are selected on the basis of their social footprint – whether they are social enterprises themselves or operate as normal business, but stand out for their social responsibility policies, workplace relations and conditions.

The “Shedia art” facilities (workshops, exhibition space, the main wholesale and retail point of sale) are located on the corner of 56 Kolokotroni Street and 2 Nikiou Street, Athens.

“Shediart” products are also available in shops around Greece (the list of retail outlets is here) and through our electronic online platform (e-shop). The wholesale network covers Greek and international clients’ needs (for more information and orders you can send an email at order@shediart.gr).

Moreover, apart from the existing ones, custom-made products can also be discussed and ordered (for institutions, corporations and individuals).
